I tried connecting the Windows 7 laptop to a plain vanilla install on the desktop, on the host desktop computer, with Windows 7 Premium, Professional and Ultimate. Again, I usually do connect the first time from a laptop regardless of the the OS used. The problem is on the host desktop which doesnt seem to recognize when the remote sessions have ended. I know this because when I return to my desktop, the welcome screen always indicates that I am logged in, when I shouldnt be. I have to do a hard reset of the machine because logging in from the welcome screen causes a hang, with the screen saying welcome along with the spinning pointer and unresponsive keyboard.
